Text: Acts of the Apostles 1:8 (New Living Translation)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”


There is no spiritual power without the presence of the Holy Spirit. Until the Holy Spirit resides within a man, such a person is far from experiencing and manifesting spiritual power. 


The level of fellowship and intimacy with the Holy Spirit determines the level of spiritual power manifested. 


The kingdom of God in these last days will only be forceful enough to overcome the world through the power supplied by the Holy Spirit upon the lives of believers. 


Spiritual power is necessary for global takeover and Jesus knew this which is why He instructed the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit's baptism.


The relevance of any believers in these last days is a function of spiritual power they possess as a result of their close relationship with the Holy Spirit. 


Have you been baptised with the Holy Spirit? If you have been, how close are you with the Holy Spirit? Is your life a testimony of power manifested by the indwelling of the Spirit?


The truth is no matter how much power we manifest, we still need more in these days more than ever.

 

So, make up your mind to allow the Holy Spirit have full expression in your life as He makes you one of the mighty witnesses of the Kingdom in these last days.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
