Topic: Revelation of Jesus through Bible Study
Text: Luke 24:15-16,25-27,30-31
[15]And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
[16]But their eyes were holden that they should not know him.
[25]Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
[26]Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
[27]And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
[30]And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
[31]And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
Nowadays it's common for you to hear believers of Christ say things like: "I want Jesus to be revealed to me", "I want to encounter Jesus", "Lord, I want to see You", etc.
Sadly, if you check the personal and group Bible study of these believers who want to see Jesus you'll discover it to be very little or basically non-existent.
Jesus after His resurrection revealed Himself to two of His disciples but they couldn't not recognize Him.
The reason behind this was because their eyes were covered due to lack of understanding of the scriptures.
The reason the god of this world has blinded the eyes of many is because they have no understanding of the scriptures.
Jesus although risen could not even force them to recognize Him until He showed them Himself in the scriptures.
All 7 miles down to Emmaus, the Saviour taught them through Bible study what their haerts had failed to understand so that their eyes might see the reality.
They could not recognize a risen Christ because they never understood that image of Christ in the scriptures.
The image of Jesus that is revealed to you is that which you understand of Him from the scriptures.
This is why to some people although they have an understanding of Jesus as their provider and receive this blessing, they've never experienced Divine healing and health because they've yet to understand this image of Him.
So on this glorious Easter Monday, why don't you make a decision to begin in-depth Bible study so that Jesus might be revealed to you.
Have a personal time for Bible study.
Be part of a Bible study with other believers. In these times join some online groups that do Bible study.
The Jesus you don't understand through Scriptures can not be known and revealed to you.
I pray for you a short while from now you're coming out with awesome revelations of the Christ. You'll know Him and you'll be known by Him. Your spiritual and phyiscal reality will be transformed for good by the reason of these revelations in Jesus name.
