What drives you?

Spirit Breakfast 30/1/2021 Text: Hebrews 12:2 (King James Version) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Today is the 30th day of January 2021, hence a month is already gone in the year.  And already many have lost their motivation for the year. Some didn't even enter the year 2021 with any passion whatsoever because of how overwhelming last year was.  The truth is that we will always be accosted with challenges in life. Every man and I repeat every man is fighting a personal battle, the difference is that it varies in degrees and levels.  Even Jesus faced His own share of challenges while He was here on Earth.  Nevertheless, we are expected to overcome these challenges and accomplish our purposes. Hence, we need to be internally driven by that which ensures we keep going until the finish line.  A man who isn't driven will st

Spirit Breakfast 27/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. The second and third lines of the model prayer which Jesus gave to His disciples have the following words: Thy Kingdom Come Thy Will be done on Earth, as it is in Heaven These lines capture the entirety of God's plan for the Earth.  Earth was meant to act as an extension of the Kingdom of God which was situated in Heaven.  For Earth to be colonised in the very ways of Heaven, God sent His regent in form of man to have Dominion over the Earth.  After the Fall, man lost the spiritual integrity to access the Kingdom of Heaven and all its attending benefits.  Enter Jesus, the Son of God, who was the fullness of God bodily. He still retained the spiritual integrity required to serve as a true Regent upon the Earth in every sense.  Because His spiritual integrity was maintained He could ac

Spirit Breakfast 26/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Philippians 2:5-8 records a synopsis of Jesus' life on Earth. I'll share just verse 8: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. My emphasis is on the obedience of Jesus. He was so obedient to the Father's Will even to the point of dying.  Obedience is a necessity for anyone who wants to be a spiritual access point.  Irrespective of other spiritual activities you engage in, obedience to the Will of the Father takes the preeminence over all.  Our acts of sacrifice can never replace obedience.  The Prophet-Priest Samuel who was a spiritual access point in the Old Testament knew this and told King Saul these immortal words: "Obedience is better than sacrifice".  Praying and fasting becomes work

Spirit Breakfast 25/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. We see in Matthew 4:2 that Jesus fasted for forty days and nights before He began His ministry.  Jesus understood the necessity of fasting. He being a man understood that the flesh must be brought under subjection. And He understood that only fasting can accomplish that.  When we fast, the Spirit is made alive, and the flesh is subjected to death.  Paul the Apostle understood this and said in 1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection:" The way he did this was through fasting. You can never be a spiritual access point without the force of fasting. If you want to become one, do not neglect fasting.  I pray that God's abundance will be made available unto you this day.  Have a graced day... #spiritbreakfast™ #pastormuve™ #2021 #overcome #ioverc

Spirit Breakfast 22/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Jesus led a life of prayer. At serveral instances in the gospels, we see Him going off to pray.  Jesus who was a man understood that prayer is the only way for a man to be one with the Divine realm.  Luke 18:1 records Jesus' emphasis on prayer: And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; The opposite of prayer is fainting.  To faint is to lack strength which could lead to loss of consciousness.  When a man faints, he is oblivious to spiritual activities. Hence, accessing spiritual realities become impossible.  The ultimate goal of the devil is to bring a man to the place of fainting. When a man faints, he lacks the strength to do anything. Likewise, fainting is what leads to prayerlessness because the strength is not available.  Only

Spirit Breakfast 21/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Jesus' life on the earth was dependent on the ministry of the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit was responsible for His incarnation by overshadowing Mary. (Luke 1:35) The Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus at baptism. (Luke 3:22) He also led Jesus into the wilderness (Luke 4:1), after which he returned in the power of the Spirit to begin His ministry. (Luke 4:14) The bottom line is no man can function as a spiritual access point without the help of the Holy Spirit.  The work of the Holy Spirit is to help us on our spiritual journey.  When we try to do it without His help, we end up failing. The Holy Spirit thrives in the life of a person who has lost self-dependency, and gained Spirit-dependency.  Today, ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Tell Him how helpless and hopeless without Him. Spirit Breakfast 20/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. At this point, we'll turn our focus to a man in the New Testament that was an embodiment of being a spiritual access point.  No one before or after Him shows us what it means to serve as a portal to the supernatural realm.  He even said this in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." This man is Jesus the Son of God.  All other men who have become spiritual access points find their expression in Jesus. That is why He is the Way and not just a way.  A man must be in Christ Jesus to properly navigate the spiritual realm.  While the Old Testament saints like Samuel could access certain dimensions of God, the fullness of God is only made available through Jesus. Hence, we in this dispensation have greater advantage than the O

Spirit Breakfast 18/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 1 Samuel 3:3 shows us something interesting about the lifestyle of the young lad Samuel: The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was sleeping in the Tabernacle near the Ark of God. (New Living Translation) The Tabernacle in those days served as the house of God and the worship place for all of Israel. Hence, it functioned as a spiritual access point.  The Ark of God or the Ark of Covenant was a symbol of the physical manifest Presence of God. In essence, where the Ark was, God was. Therefore, when the Ark of God is in the Tarbenacle, that location was a highly spiritual access point.  In the verse above we see Samuel in the Tabernacle lying near the Ark of God.  To clear things up, Samuel wasn't directly close to the Ark per say as the Ark was kept in the holiest place which

Spirit Breakfast 16/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. When Samuel came of age and was serving in the Tabernacle as an assistant to the High Priest Eli, we discover an interesting character of this young man.  The scripture tells us that Eli's sons; Hophni and Phinehas were committing all sorts of atrocities in the Tabernacle.  However, Samuel didn't follow their path which could have easily served as an example to him being a young boy.  Verses 12 and 18 of 1 Samuel shows the contrast between the lifestyle of Eli's sons and Samuel's.  [12]Now the sons of Eli were scoundrels who had no respect for the lord [18]But Samuel, though he was only a boy, served the lord. He wore a linen garment like that of a priest. (New Living Translation) Samuel unlike the sons of Eli had deep fear and reverence of God. Although he had access to

Spirit Breakfast 15/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. As I said yesterday, from today, we'll chart Samuel's spiritual trajectory that made him what he became.  The birth of Samuel was a product of a sacrificial vow. In 1 Samuel 1:11 we see the mother of Samuel making this vow: And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. The dimension that brought about Samuel's birth was not just prayer but this vow. Because it is obvious a woman in Hannah's condition would have prayed severally prior to that time.  After this vow and confirmation of answers via the High Priest E

Spirit Breakfast 14/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. The narrative in I Samuel 19:18-24 which I shared yesterday shows us how the territory wherein Samuel was located became a spiritual access point.  Now, this wasn't just a case of a location becoming an access point, although Ramah had abundant spiritual investments.  However, it was a proof that the man named Samuel himself was a spiritual access point.  This can be proved based on the spiritual experiences and encounters that occurred to the men who came close to Samuel.  One of the spiritual endowments of Samuel was prophecy. He operated so accurately in that dimension that 1 Samuel 3:19 recorded this concerning Samuel: And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. What that meant is that regarding prophetic accuracy, Samuel scored 1

Spirit Breakfast 13/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. A man who functioned as a spiritual access point in the Old Testament was Samuel the Priest, Prophet, and Judge. To Samuel was so connected to the Divine that he could easily serve in those 3 roles easily.  David was mentored by Samuel, so it wasn't surprising to see David function in 3 offices as King, Prophet, and Priest.  When you come close to a spiritual access point in form of a person, you tap into certain levels of the dimensions and graces they carry.  Joshua tapped into the spirit of leadership and spiritual sensitivity by being close to Moses. This principle is true even till this day. This man of God carried the essence of God so much that his surrounding became portals into the supernatural.  We see an example of such in 1 Kings 19:18-24. I'll share that passage of s

Spirit Breakfast 12/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it . So far, we've discussed how a location can function as a spiritual access point.  From this point, we'll focus on how individuals function as spiritual access points and how you can become one.  This aspect is very important because one may not always be present in a location where he/she has established as a spiritual access point.  Therefore, one must become a spiritual access point that carries the manifest presence of God down to whichever location they find themselves. The fundamental factor that enables a man to serve as a spiritual portal to heaven is the inherent truth that man possesses the Spirit and nature of God.  While fallen man lost this nature, a man who has been reGENErated, once again carries the God DNA and GENE within his spirit.  Therefore, connection is est

Spirit Breakfast 11/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Let us further understand the significance of prayer in establishing spiritual access points upon the earth.  Isaiah 56:7 established God's house as a house of prayer. Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. This truth was reechoed by Jesus when He drove out the traders in Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. The house of God which is Bethel is a house of prayer. Whenever God's house is established upon a location, prayer is given paramount preference.  Prayer is an earthly principle because praye

Spirit Breakfast 9/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. If a location would become a spiritual access point, then prayer must be consistent. Consistent prayer means the time of meeting with the Lord must be consistent.  The disciples had established times of prayer called the hour of prayer.  An established time of prayer is a show of faithfulness and commitment to the purpose of establishing God's province upon the earth.  Not only must prayer be constant, the time of prayer must also be constant.  Therefore, this year, choose a time of meeting with the Lord in that location of your choosing. And watch as God's power becomes a tangible and maifest reality in that place.  Today, I pray for you, may God give you rest from all your troubles.  Have a graced day... #spiritbreakfast™ #2021 #overcome #iovercome #backtobethel #spiritual #divi

Spirit Breakfast 8/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. Another way a location can be made into a spiritual access point is by investment of continuous prayers.  Prayer is not a means to get something from God. Rather, prayer is a means of establishing a connection between two dimensions.  Therefore, the greater the prayers offered upon a particular location, the easier the connection to the Divine.  Prayer mountains obtain their ability to serve as spiritual access points through this process.  A location that is bereft of prayer will lack the divine manifest presence of God.  Through prayer a man can make his room a portal to heaven. Daniel's room was one of such locations by reason of his continuous prayer he never lacked divine visitations, visions, revelations, and answers.  There is a spiritual aura that prayer generates which when d

Spirit Breakfast 7/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. How a location can be made into a spiritual access point.  Just like in the natural order of things, a location becomes a special place based on the importance attached to it as well as the historical events that occurred there.  Likewise, in spiritual matters, a physical location is made a spiritual access point by the events that occur there.  The Tabernacle and the Temple became spiritual access points because that's where sacrifices were constantly made unto God.  This means apart from Divine election, man can change a seemingly ordinary place to become a portal to heaven.  The number one action that establishes a place as a spiritual access point is consecration or dedication.  Consecration is the act of declaring a thing sacred to a deity.  A spiritual law is that when a place i

Spirit Breakfast 6/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. This morning, we'll be turning our attention to how physical locations serve as spiritual acess points.  But before we go into that, we must understand that not every location upon the face of the Earth carries the same level of access to heaven. Although God is Omnipresent, His manifest presence is not present at every location upon the Earth.  For example, the shrine of a native priest cannot be said to be a spiritual access point to heaven even though God is present there.  Locations that serve as spiritual access points are characterized by spiritual investments.  Spiritual investments can be Divinely or humanly deposited. Across scripture, we discover certain locations that served as spiritual access points. They include: The Garden in Eden, Bethel, Mount Horeb/Sinai which is cal

Spirit Breakfast 5/1/2021 Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. What is a Spiritual Access Point? Spiritual access points are locations and persons that serve as portals or doorways through which access to the Divine is made easy.  Notice that these access points could be in form of locations or persons. Hence, we'll examine these two forms as we progress.  Furthermore, spiritual access points are established in two manners.  First, God by His acts of His sovereignty can choose a place or a man to become a spiritual access point upon the face of the Earth.  This is done by Divine election and does not need the input of man. This is God deciding to put His name (His signature) upon a place or a person.  We see this in Deuteronomy 12:5 when God chose a place to serve as a spiritual access point. But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choos

Spirit Breakfast 4/1/2021  Text: Genesis 28:12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. The verse of the scripture above carries an amazing revelation within. And this is not just because of the spectacular and the supernatural aspect of the revelation. Rather, it reveals a deep spiritual principle that is necessary for one to access the divine realm that is naturally sealed off to natural man.  However, once and again, by willful and persistent acts, certain spiritual access points have been established upon the face of the earth that allows man to easily reach out to God and God can reach out to man. The very first spiritual access point was the Garden of Eden. It allowed God to come down and fellowship with man every day. If we are to grow in revelation and the knowledge of God, spiritual access points must be established. Therefore, for the next couple of days, by God&#
