Spiritual Access Points (X)

Text: Genesis 28:12

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

The narrative in I Samuel 19:18-24 which I shared yesterday shows us how the territory wherein Samuel was located became a spiritual access point. 

Now, this wasn't just a case of a location becoming an access point, although Ramah had abundant spiritual investments. 

However, it was a proof that the man named Samuel himself was a spiritual access point. 

This can be proved based on the spiritual experiences and encounters that occurred to the men who came close to Samuel. 

One of the spiritual endowments of Samuel was prophecy. He operated so accurately in that dimension that 1 Samuel 3:19 recorded this concerning Samuel:

And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.

What that meant is that regarding prophetic accuracy, Samuel scored 100%.

Hence, this was the major Spiritual dimension he operated in. Therefore, in the passage shared yesterday, we see Samuel officiating over a group of prophets and the prophetic anointing and dimension was strong enough that all the prophets prophesied. 

Because this was the dimension Samuel had created access to via his own personal dealings, the Messengers sent by Saul also prophesied without prior experience in this spiritual manifestation. 

In Saul's case it was overwhelming. Immediately he came to Naioth in Ramah, a location that also acted as a spiritual access point, the Spirit of prophesy came upon him. 

He continued prophesying until he came before Samuel, at that point the prophetic unction increased exponentially and Saul had to prophesy before Samuel naked. 

The prophecies were so accurate that people around had to ask if Saul had become one of the prophets. 

Notice that Naioth in Ramah served as a spiritual access point, but this was made possible due to Samuel who had become a spiritual access point establishing himself in that location. 

Therefore, the spiritual access offered by a location is further enhanced when a spiritual access point in form of a man is found in that location. 

Let's continue tomorrow as we chart Samuel's Spiritual trajectory to becoming a spiritual access point.
