Spirit Breakfast 20/1/2021



Text: Genesis 28:12

And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.


At this point, we'll turn our focus to a man in the New Testament that was an embodiment of being a spiritual access point. 


No one before or after Him shows us what it means to serve as a portal to the supernatural realm. 


He even said this in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."


This man is Jesus the Son of God. 


All other men who have become spiritual access points find their expression in Jesus. That is why He is the Way and not just a way. 


A man must be in Christ Jesus to properly navigate the spiritual realm. 


While the Old Testament saints like Samuel could access certain dimensions of God, the fullness of God is only made available through Jesus.


Hence, we in this dispensation have greater advantage than the Old Testament saints because we follow the trajectory set by Jesus. 


All who encounter Jesus are launched into spiritual possibilities and realities they could never before attain.


Jesus being the prototokos (firstborn) of our Father in heaven; He is a pattern for the New Testament saint. 


If a man is to operate in the spiritual as Jesus did, we must learn from Him. 


Therefore, our next action in this series will be to draw from the life of Jesus and find out why this Man was the full expression of the Godhead upon the earth and how we may become like Him.

I decree over your life that the resources necessary to accomplish God's desire over your life be sent your way in Jesus name.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
