Topic: Don't take it easy.
Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
"Take it easy" is a common clichΓ© we hear people say. In most cases it is directed at those that seem to be overdoing a thing.
For example, in an office, an individual might be dedicated to his job and he/she begins to work harder than others.
In such situation, it is common for other colleagues (especially ones older on the job) to tell such a fellow to "take it easy".
"Take it easy" can also mean "don't overdo it". It is a call from those that have decided to remain mediocres to those with potential for greatness to come to the level they are in.
No one tells a lazy unsuccessful fellow to "take it easy".
Paul the Apostle acknowledged that the Grace of God was at work in his life. Yet, he used that Grace as a power to labour more than other Apostles. And we all can attest to the fact that in terms of impact, he achieved more.
Stop listening to those telling you to "take it easy". Keep pushing, do more. There is reward for doing more than that which others attempt.
Put in extra work, go the extra mile, don't take it easy and you'll see your efforts crowned with success this year.
