Spirit Breakfast 22/2/2021

Text: Ephesians 5:18 (New Living Translation)

Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Tips on how to meditate on the Word despite a busy schedule

1. Every morning, ask the Holy Spirit to give you a verse of the scripture.

This is beyond devotionals. This is receiving a guiding verse for the day.

Immediately you wake up, after thanking God and praying (morning prayer even though brief is a must), ask the Holy Spirit for a verse for the day.

You could be led to a verse as you open the Bible or a portion of the scripture might be dropped in your heart.

Sometimes, devotionals might have certain verses that the Holy Spirit will impress the most in your spirit.

Or if you're the type that listens to sermons when you wake, a verse from the sermon can be highlighted by the Holy Spirit as your verse for the day.

Whichever way, ensure you don't leave home without a verse for the day.

Meditating on a verse throughout a day gives you deep revelation into the mind of God concerning that verse. This in turn, will aid your spiritual progress.

Note that meditating on a verse doesn't mean you don't read and study the Bible as you ought to. Rather, it's to help you maintain intimacy even while you're busy.

Let's continue next time by God's Grace...

I pray that the grace for multiplication rest on you today in Jesus name.

Have a graced day...
