Theme: Your Inherent Power Level Defines Your Glory Level  


Anchor Text: Mark 13:26 King James Version
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Glory is desired by most of us. We seek dignity, honour and even praise that is worthy of a successful life. Yet as believers we don't seek it the wrong way like others do.

The anchor text says when Jesus returns He will be coming in both power and glory. Is there a relationship between this two amazing words and concept? If so how are they related? I'll try to explain it as best as I can...

1 Corinthians 15:41 says _'There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.'_ This means that the level of glory displayed be it Divine, human or even created things differ. Why is there such difference?

Using stars to illustrate, we know that _'stars shine because they are extremely hot (which is why fire gives off light — because it is hot). The source of their energy is nuclear reactions going on deep inside the stars. In most stars, like our sun, hydrogen is being converted into helium, a process which gives off energy that heats the star. The inside is actually millions of degrees, extremely hot! That warms the outer layers of the star, which gives off heat and light.'_ (source)

To simplify the explanation above, stars vary in brightness because of the energy or inherent power within them. The amount of power inside a star determines it's glory (shine).

In order for a person to radiate glory, he/she must possess inherent power. A man must possess spiritual power inside of him if he is to show forth glory here on Earth. Ephesians 3:20 says 'Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,' The power inside of a man determines the level of victory and success (glory) one attains in life. This power is a result of the Holy Spirit's endowment and inner workings in a man's life.

The glory of a car in terms of speed are not the same. A car like the Koenigsegg Agera RS  with 277.87 mph (447.19 km/h) differs greatly from a Aston Martin DB4 GT with 152 mph (245 km/h). The reason is simple: Their engine capacity differs greatly.

Like The Gratitude sang: 'The engine on your inside is of a very heavy capacity'. When the capacity of power inside of you is very high, you have no other reason than to manifest glory! You are born of God and full of the Holy Spirit and the more you develop your spiritual power, the more glory you radiate.

Jesus will be returning in all Glory because the power contained inside of Him is infinitely massive. He Himself said it: '...All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.' (Matthew 28:18)

Power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11) That's why God's Glory is described as a weighty manifestation of unexplainable radiance and brightness that you can't behold Him.

Grow the power within and experience glory.

Prayer: Receive Grace to grow in the power of the Holy Spirit today in Jesus name.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
