*Theme:* *Right Approach to God's Word*
*Anchor Text:* Jeremiah 15:16
[16]Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

The word of God doesn't work for many because they come with a wrong approach. Once a matter is apporached wrongly, the result will be negative. 

Jeremiah in one of his numerous dialogue with the Almighty, revealed to us how to approach God's Word, which we'll briefly look into.
(Note: This isn't an exhaustive discourse.)

1. *The Word must be sought for*
Jeremiah said that God's words were found. That means it's not common. *The fact that you have a Bible in your hand, in your phone and your laptop etc doesn't mean you've found God's word.* As far as the Bible is not searched intently and deeply, God's Word will remain elusive.

*It is the searching of the LOGOS that reveals the RHEMA* *Logos is common, Rhema is rare* and if you don't search you can't find it. It is the Rhema that is alive, powerful and sharp. *The logos is just Christian Religious Knowledge, the Rhema is Christ Revealed Wisdom*

The disciples on the way to Emmaus couldn't understand the Word because they failed to look, so Jesus had to open their eyes for them to see the Rhema pertaining to His glorification out of the logos they were familiar with.  Until the logos is deeply looked into, you can't see the Rhema needed for your particular situation.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
