Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 7)
Sub Theme: Rivers in the Desert (pt 4)

Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:18&19
Sub Text: John 4:13-15
[13]Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
[14]But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
[15]The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.

Salvation when received initially doesn't start out as rivers that can overflow deserts. In this conversation with the Samaritan woman, Jesus showed us how it starts.

When you receive the Living Water of Christ, what  you receive is a well of water on your inside. This allows you entry into everlasting life.

A Well of water is a sort of reservoir. In order to get anything out of it, you need something to draw with. New believers are like this. They are only capable of replenishing and refreshing themselves. If you want to get virtue and value out of them, you need to be persistent in following them up.

That's the initial stage but God wants us to go beyond that. Which is where the rivers flow. We'll look into that  tomorrow.

Stay Graced...
