Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 8)
Sub Theme: Rivers in the Desert (pt 5)

Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:18&19
Reference Text: John 7:37-39
[37]In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
[38]He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
[39](But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

The Samaritan woman at the well received a well of Living Water but that wasn't the peak. Salvation you need to understand is not a one time experience. Salvation is a daily walk with God. Therefore as a man grows in Christ daily, He experiences deeper dimensions of salvation.

The purpose of salvation is not to get us saved from sin, death and hell. The purpose of salvation is to make us filled with the fullness of God. Being saved from sin, death and hell is a function of the fullness of God within us.

So Paul the apostle prayed for the Ephesians in chapter 3 verses 16-19
[16]That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
[17]That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
[18]May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
[19]And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

You see Paul mentioned that there are breadths, lenghts, depths and heights. In normal physical circumstances, we have objects in 3 dimensions; 3D shapes. These have lenght, breadth and height. Spiritual objects and realities are not in 3 dimensions but 4 dimensions. This is very important.

In the physical, the depths and heights are merged into one to give you just height. But spiritually, these two are different dimensions. Your depth in the Spirit realm is that part that no one sees because you attain that in your closet. It is the years of serious and deep word study, the long hours of prayers, the constant groaning in the Spirit and the rest of such spiritual activities that makes you deeply rooted to the point you become deep yourself. This what the Bible refers to as "Deep calleth unto deep". In other words there are deep places in Christ that when a man has spent so much time there, he becomes the very essence of that mysteriously spiritual place. Rev Kenneth E. Hagin spoke of several times he entered these deep places and found it difficult to come out from it.

There are depths in Christ this generation is yet to know. I only pray from you that you be among those who find these depths. Because it is your depth in Christ that ultimately determines your height in this world (spiritual and physical).

I recommend singing and meditating on the lyrics of this hymn by Fanny Crosby: "I am thine O Lord!" You can get the lyrics here https://www.hymnsite.com/lyrics/umh419.sht
