Topic: Why He is God
Text: Ecclesiastes 8:17 (New Living Translation)
[17]I realized that no one can discover everything God is doing under the sun. Not even the wisest people discover everything, no matter what they claim.
One of the fundamental attributes of God is His Omniscience. That is the ability to know everything completely.
This knowledge extends from the timeline of eternity past to eternity future.
It is intricate knowledge of all that occurs at every point, place and time without missing the minutest of details.
That's why He is God; His Omniscience is infinite.
Man, on the other hand, is a finite being; well limited in knowledge. Although designed with the most sophisticated organ to store tons of information, we are quite fallible.
There is a stark, vast and wide chasm between the knowledge of man and that of God.
The entirety of man's life is actually lived to understand and discover an extremely minute fraction of what God has done and is currently doing.
While some might try to deny this, but even the 'wise' scientists spend their lives trying to discover that which God has done.
Every discovery made about the nature and works of the Almighty will only give birth to new questions about that which He has done and is doing.
Even with the state of the world globally, we cannot fully understand the extent of what God is doing.
Nevertheless, we can rest in the truth that all He does is good. He is inherently good and His works are always good.
We may question from now till the end of time why many things have happened and are happening, yet we may never find the answers.
Therefore, the best thing to do is to rely on Him. Trust the Only One who knows the end from the beginning.
The devil might have the lease on this world for now, but he's still a pawn in God's universal game of chess.
Prayer
I pray that which God is working presently will work for your good. You'll be a recipient of God's goodness in Jesus name.
Have a graced day...
