 Text: 1 Timothy 6:6
[6]But godliness with contentment is great gain.

In a world that qualifies success with possessions, one can get up in all sorts of rat race inevitably leading one to greed.

Greed is listed as one of the seven deadly vices and it has been known to ruin men.

While the Word of God teaches us to be hardworking, industrious, and competent in financial matters, it also teaches us to be content.

Contentment is that which protects us from covetousness and greed.

Contentment is a state of self-satisfaction as well as management of the current resources at your disposal.

It is not allowing circumstances to push you into ill means of wealth acquisition. That is why contentment is produced in godliness.

Contentment is an understanding that the resources available are sufficient for you at the moment. This can only be attained by having self-sufficiency in the provision of the Father. He gives us our daily bread.

Don't let the want push you into greed or covetousness. Give thanks for what you have while believing in the release of more.

Jehovah Jireh will always provide because He knows what you need even before you ask Him.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
