Text: Genesis 1:3
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
The highest form of God's interaction with man is His spoken word.
Nothing changes until He speaks. God's Word is that which acts upon a body in a state of rest to grant it motion.
His appearance, His visage, His form might cause in us a sense of awe when we behold Him, but it is that which He says that transforms us.
No Divine manifestation is higher than God's Word. So for Jesus to have preeminence over all, He was incarnated also as the Word of God.
The Bible as we have it today is a compendium of what God has been saying to man throughout the ages and what will be said.
Hence, the Words contained within are the most important piece of information in all of mankind's history.
It is our responsibility to study and understand that which God is saying at every stage in man's history and development.
As I look upon the events unfolding in the world at large today; pandemic, global unrest, mass protests, lawlessness, wickedness to fellow humans, one can simply see the clock of this age winding down as enshrined in the scriptures.
One of the reasons I am certain that there is a God who had planned the history of man before man came into being is the accuracy of the scriptures.
God had shown mankind through Daniel's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream the rise and falls of empires which has been proven true.
And very soon, the Eternal Empire which cannot be overthrown will soon be instituted. This too shall come to pass because God has said it.
I don't know what you are bothered about, just discover what God is saying about it and rest in the fact that His word must surely come to pass: Heaven and Earth will pass away but what God has said must be fulfilled.
Has God spoken a thing concerning you, don't lose faith. God's word to man is encased in the mystery of time. At the appointed time, there will be a manifestation of that which God has spoken. So rejoice in this.
