Have Compassion
Spirit Breakfast 🍞☕

Text: 1 John 3:17 (New Living Translation)
If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
Compassion is defined as deep awareness of the suffering of another, coupled with the wish to relieve it.
Compassion is that which God has put inside humanity to help us understand the plight of others.
Sadly, many have shut up their bowels of compassion. When you see someone in need and you refuse to understand their situation and render help, you are shutting up your bowels of compassion.
If we look around us critically, we would discover that there are people in serious need. There are many suffering as a result of lack. At the same time, we have many who have the means to help but do nothing.
Jesus while He walked on Earth was always moved with compassion towards those he encountered. Compassion was a vital show of His love towards the people.
Love is expressed through compassion because compassion will ultimately cause you to act to alleviate the pain of others when you have the means.
Show compassion today and make the world better with one act of kindness at a time.
Have a graced day...
