It's your choice

Text: Joshua 24:15
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
To serve the Lord has never been forced upon anyone. Serving the Lord has always been a choice.
God made man as free will beings with the ability to make their own choices and decisions.
Joshua spoke to Israel and gave them options; serve the Lord or the gods of the Amorites. If you feel serving the Lord is evil or foolish you can choose to serve whatever you want.
The same options still stand today. With so many being angry at God or being confused as to the events unfolding on the Earth. There's still a choice to make.
Will you drag God and forsake the Creator or you choose to serve Him for who He is?
Moses also gave Israel the same choice in Deuteronomy 30:19: "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
Joshua told the people that he had chosen to serve the Lord with His family. Moses encouraged the people to choose life in serving the Lord for their own sake.
Today you have a choice as well. Choose Jesus or reject Him. I'll encourage you to choose Him for in Him there's life.
It's your choice, but wrong choices do come with grave consequences. Make the right choice today.
God is love. An understanding of this love can only be realized in the place of surrender and complete trust.
Have a graced day...
