Watch with thanksgiving

Text: Colossians 4:2
Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

One of the reasons most prayers are not answered is because they aren't backed up or watched with thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is the seal of confirmation on our prayers that takes it straight to the throne room of God.

Thanksgiving is not a thing done after answer to prayer comes or once in a while. Thanksgiving is a state of being of the believer.

Thanksgiving is an understanding that the prayers offered are already answered.

Any request made without thanksgiving lacks the appropriate power to break through first and second heavens to reach third heaven.

Thanksgiving must be made with every act of prayer. Philippians 4:6: Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

You give thanks before you pray, you give thanks while you pray, you give thanks after you've prayed, and you keep giving thanks while you wait for answers. This is how to watch over prayers with thanksgiving.

Jesus said: "Father thank you for hearing me" (John 11:41). Have this belief as well and thank Him always.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
