God's report versus evil report

Text: Numbers 14:6-9
[6]And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
[7]And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
[8]If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
[9]Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.

In Numbers 13 we see that 10 out of the 12 spies Moses sent came back with an evil report.

What made their report evil was that it was contrary to God's plan. They stated that they couldn't take the land because of the sons of Anak there.

Joshua and Caleb, on the other hand, gave God's report. The promise of God to give them the land was all that mattered. They didn't care if they were outnumbered; it was the words of 10 versus 2 of them.

Regardless of the happenings around and what others may say or think, hold fast to God's report. Keep aligning with what God has said about you and they'll come to pass.

Out of the 12 spies, only Joshua and Caleb entered the Promised Land because they dared to believe the Lord's report.

I pray for you, as you continually hold on to God's report, may the Lord lead you into your wealthy place of rest in Jesus name.

Have a graced day...
