Overcoming impossibilities
Spirit Breakfast 🍞☕
Text: Luke 1:34,37-38
[34]Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
[37]For with God nothing shall be impossible.
[38]And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her.
Impossibility doesn't exist with God. Impossibility is a word that isn't found in God's dictionary and vocabulary.
Man faces impossibilities because of our limitations as created beings. The Creator has none of such.
For man to step into that realm where impossibilities cease to be a thing, man must align himself with the Creator.
It is agreement (believe) with the possibility nature of God that is revealed by the Words He speaks.
This agreement will also spur man into taking corresponding action based on that which he has now agreed to from God.
Mary was able to conceive and birth Jesus despite it was naturally impossible. She asked in curiosity: "How shall this be...?"
The assurance of God's word through the mouth of the angel Gabriel brought her to a place of belief which resounded in her words: "...be it unto me according to thy word."
We see this same pattern of overcoming impossibilities in Luke 5:4-9. Simon (Peter) and his companions had toiled all night at sea with not even a single fish to show.
Yet, the Master asked him to "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught." Peter had his initial objections to this considering they had been at it for the whole night.
However, he said "...nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." When he did, he had a catch that was actually impossible.
Impossible is nothing with our God. All we need to do is find the Word. And we can do that by searching through the Bible. It is God's word to us for all situations.
When you find that Word, like Mary accept that it will be to you according to the word you've found. And like Peter take corresponding action in agreement with the word received.
As you do this, I pray impossibilities become nothing before you. Things that seem like they could never happen becomes common testimony unto you. Impossible situations that have lasted for a while be transformed into an overwhelming miracle in Jesus name.
Have a graced day...
