Theme: GOD: Our Guide

Anchor Text: Psalms 48:14
[14]For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Some folks will readily liken and describe the life we live as a journey. This journey begins when we are born and ends when we are dead.

Many will also say that the journey of life isn't actually a straight road as one would want it to be. It is more like a complicated maze wherein one can get stuck in the same spot.

Hence, a lot of people have become frustrated in life because they just can't find their way through this maze. Yet there is always a way; in fact there is THE WAY.

What if you had a personal guide who was always leading you and directing you on what turn to take, what bridge to climb, etc. And I don't mean Google navigator.

What if this guide could tell you not just the next turn to take but how your life on Earth here will end as far as you're obedient to His guidance?

Our anchor text calls God our guide even unto death. The Israelites experienced Him as they journeyed through the wilderness: He led them by pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night. He still guides His children even till this day.

You don't have to live through life feeling confused. God wants to guide you. He is the best guide you can ever get. He knows what happens at the end which makes Him the most qualified to lead you.

Accept his guidance, always ask Him what to do. Don't think you know what to do. Allow Him to lead, allow Him to guide. I see you experiencing victory on every side in this season.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
