Text: Proverbs 30:25 (New Living Translation)

[26]Hyraxes—they aren’t powerful, but they make their homes among the rocks.


Continued from yesterday...


Rock Hyraxes live in a community. You can have up to 80 members living together. As a result, they go foraging for food as a group. 


This actually leaves them vulnerable to predators. Interestingly, Hyraxes despite having numerous predators are not usually prey causalties. 


This is because they have developed a warning system that allows them evade these predators. When they go foraging, sentries are stationed at strategic location to warn the group of any danger while the others feed.


When there is any danger, the lookout sentries make certain noises to alert others. Immediately, the entire group retreat back to their rock stronghold. 


As humans, there is danger coming that is common to all of us. The danger known as the lake of fire is no fable as some might think. It is very real.


The end of this world is coming and those who fail to heed the warnings will have themselves to blame. 


We as believers in Jesus Christ have the responsibility of acting as sentries to warn the world of the danger ahead. Some of us have been sounding the warning and some of us have not. 


Let every believer understand that it is our duty to sound the warning to all. The decision to choose to heed the warning becomes their responsibility. 


And for those who are yet to heed the warning and run to the ROCK who is Jesus, this is another opportunity. Any Hyrax that refuses to heed the warning becomes prey. Same way if you fail to heed the warning you will end up being a prey to the evil one. 


Jesus is the only way of escape. I implore you to heed the warning I'm sounding. Believe and accept Jesus as Lord today. Let Him rule your life. Give Him total control. 


And even for those who have believed, the warning is still for us. Serve God faithfully for the end will testify of your faithfulness.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
