Text: Proverbs 30:28 (New Living Translation)

Lizards—they are easy to catch, but they are found even in kings’ palaces.


Continued from yesterday...


Affirmation is a good thing however, it shouldn't be sought at all costs. Asking for permission is ethical, but not in all situations. 


Lizards don't bother with any of the above. They don't seek to be affirmed because they know they won't get it. Neither do they seek your permission to live in your house. 


Many have mortgaged their success and future at the place of seeking affirmation and permission for their God-given purposes and visions. 


If a lizard was always to wait for affirmation or permission, it will never have a place in your house.


If God has given you a vision, understand that there will be oppositions. Even those whom you feel should affirm what you are doing might turn out as challenges to that vision.


The true permission you need to achieve your God-given vision is God's permission. Every other one is secondary. 


God placed an innate behaviour within lizards that makes them dwell in human houses. They do not mortgage this mandate because they want affirmation and permission.


In most cases, the best visions have the least affirmation and permission from men. Don't let anyone stop you.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
