Text: Proverbs 30:28 (New Living Translation)

Lizards—they are easy to catch, but they are found even in kings’ palaces.


Continued from yesterday...

 

Lizards are capable of moving through walls despite the challenges of navigating through wall cracks and creaks in order to get to different locations. If they need to pass through a tiny space, Lizards can make their bodies very flat so that they can pass through.


An indication that you would achieve your visions, dreams, and goals is your ability to navigate through challenges, obstacles, hindrances, and roadblocks. 


A vision is a picture of a preferred future, but before that future is reached there are the present negative situations you must deal with.

 

It is not enough to have vision, you must also have a mapped out plan and strategy to help you achieve such visions. You must be able to envisage obstacles and challenges ahead and put them into consideration while you plan. 


And when the challenges and obstacles come, you must be able to adapt and adjust to overcome it. You must develop the ability of changing form, style, and approach. 


Even right now, what adjustments are you making to ensure that you overcome the present obstacle standing between you and your next goals? Don't just pray and wish for it to go away alone, there is an action you must take.

 

Moses had to stretch out the rod in his hands before the Red Sea parted. In Joshua's time, the priests had to go into the Jordan River with the Ark on their shoulders before it parted. 

 

A march around for 6 days and a 7-time march and shouts brought down Jericho. David had to throw the stone in his sling before Goliath fell.

 

No two challenges are the same, and only those with the ability to adapt and change form (strategy, approach) can conquer their challenges.

Topic: Love Not The World Text: 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him . John the Apostle had a personal relationship with Jesus during His time here on Earth. The relationship was so deep that he was referred to as "the beloved" of Jesus. Therefore, he understood what it means to love Jesus and be loved by Jesus. In his epistle, he decides to speak a great deal about love. Love is one of the major themes of this apostle. So much so it earned him the nickname 'The Apostle of love" John submission is that anyone who loves the world does not have the love of the Father. Which is why he encouraged the believers no to love the world, nor the things in it. Sadly, many believers have not only fallen in love with the world, but have laid in bed with the world. Theme: Isaiah 43:18-21 interpreted in relation to  Salvation. (Pt 11) Sub Theme: All will Honour God Anchor Text: Isaiah 43:20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen. Based on our anchor text, we discover that the reason the beast of the field, dragons and the owls would honour God was because He gave waters in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Like we have established already that the Holy Spirit is the One who causes waters in the wilderness (salvation) and rivers to flow in the desert (Holy Spirit baptism). These creatures mentioned weren't physical rather they were spiritual entities. They were the demonic forces that try to oppose God's rule on Earth.
